For the project of researching alternative possibilities of urban areas in the climate change, a temporary installation of the architectural office OpenFields, located in the courtyard of the MuseumsQuartier, was built in metal construction.

The new green place of communication offers three different areas from May to the end of September 2023:

An “urban garden” with a variety of fruits and vegetables, a ” meadow for sunbathing” with tall grass for relaxation, and a “Little Stage” with seating and plants, and opportunities for exchange and dialogue.

Climate-resilient plants green the stage more densely as the summer progresses. Initially individual greening measures grow into a unit over the months.
