The Department of Structural Design and Timber Engineering at TU Vienna has a new professor

By 01. September 2018, our CEO Peter Bauer is appointed Professor at the Department of Structural Design and Timber Engineering at the faculty of architecture and spatial planning.

ITI – the Institute for Structural Design and Timber Engineering at the Vienna University of Technology – deals with the two comprehensive subject areas of structural design and timber engineering in teaching and applied research. The department sees itself as a bridgehead for cooperation between the fields of architecture, civil engineering and spatial planning in the field of innovative, sustainable and resource-oriented planning and building with the aim of bringing together students of architecture and civil engineering and internationalising education.
