Large spans for Innovation Hub

In Vienna’s 21st district – Floridsdorf – opposite Siemens City, the new commercial quarter TwentyOne is being built on one of the last large contiguous industrial and commercial sites in Vienna.

The Innovation Hub, one of the six future new hubs, will be built according to the plans of the architectural office Soyka/Silber/Soyka and the structural design will be provided by werkraum ingenieure.

The impressive spans of the first floor beams – up to 20 meters – will enable a spacious, largely column-free floor with 2,500 m² of retail space for a supermarket. Above this, an office building with a gross floor area of approx. 14,000 m2 is being built, of which a large part of the space is conceptually intended for laboratories and offices.

The structural work will already be completed in the fall of 2021 and the overall completion of the Innovation Hub is expected in 2022.
