‘Forum Am Seebogen’ at the IBA_Vienna 2022
The ‘Forum Am Seebogen’ emerged as the winning project from a concept competition on the “open-use townhouse”. The possibilities of modular timber and system construction were further developed and implemented in contemporary prototypes. werkraum ingenieure were involved in this innovative project as structural engineers.
On Tuesday, on the occasion of the opening days of the final presentation of the results of the IBA, there will be the opportunity to visit the forum and walk through the building with the architectural office heri&salli. They will give an insight into the various timber construction methods and uses. The flats feature connectable work units that can be used as mini-labs, micro-working units or shared infrastructure.
After the tours there will be a lecture by heri&salli. The IBA_Vienna 2022 will run until 18th of November, 2022.
