The temporary installation VOR ORT – On Site – by Austrian artist Hannes Zebedin can be seen at Kunstplatz Graben until the beginning of November 2022. The four-meter high and 80 m² site-specific work made of concrete and clothing deals with the theme of consumption and the interpretation of clothing.

With his art object, the sculptor refers to the nearby luxurious shopping environment at Graben and to the commercial presentation on a site.

In his two-part sculptural arrangement, a wall and the garments embedded in concrete within it allude to the wealth and to many people’s longing for prestige. With the abstracted flat landscape and the clothes lying on it, the refugee theme is pointed out and made visible what people leave behind in order to get to a longed-for, better place.
