The building section 2 of the Science Park is a skeleton structure with a dimension of ~ 50x110x32m. The building consists of a basement level, which is used as a parking garage, as well as a ground floor and mezzanine, with laboratory, or office use. Furthermore six upper floors are planned to be used as office space. The building is braced through three stair-cores, a house utility shaft at stair-core_1 and a house technology shaft with an extended building longitudinal wall, at stair-core_3.
The ceilings are point-supported flat slabs and the reinforced concrete columns are made of spun-concrete. The relevant span length of the ceiling amount to 9,8×7,35 m.
Further parapets at the slab edge to reduce the boundary deformations for the façade are planned.
A combined pile and slab foundation is conceived. The basement is designed as a white sink.
