Opening of KTM Motohall

KTM boss Stefan Pierer described the Motohall in Mattighofen at the opening ceremony as a commitment to the company’s roots. 50,000 visitors are expected every year and there will be numerous activities for them. On 2600 m², the ultra-modern exhibition on three levels allows visitors to experience the stories of the motor sports heroes, the technology and innovations of their motorcycles and the READY TO RACE spirit of KTM at its very best. Everything is accessible for everyone, with interactive displays, virtual tours and original machines.

The Austrian motorbike and sports car manufacturer KTM has commissioned Hofbauer Liebmann Wimmesberger|Architekten and X ARCHITEKTEN with the ambitious task of designing a museum for their company. werkraum ingenieure was responsible for the planning of the cantilevered, slender façade elements and their supporting structure, which represent an essential architectural feature.
